DIY Screen Door installation support

Type A Retractable Screen Door is an upgrade from Type B.

 

Unique black chains replace traditional aluminum track at the bottom with more elegant appearance and design.

 

All 4 aluminum rails can be cut within 6" limit.

To install DIY B Accordian Screen Door, we strongly recommend you review this video before cutting any rail. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to call us at 718-801-1990 so we can walk you through.

 

Three vertical rails need to be cut at least 1/2" shorter than actual door jamb height because you will need installing plastic components on two ends. Their thickness plus top and bottom rail thickness will be about 1/2" leaving a little room on top so it won't cause friction.  Or directly use measure tape sticked on center rail we provide as a refence.

 

Don't cut off any cords. There is a side-cut on center pull rail  where you need to place cords on side to protect them from being damaged.

 

Adjust tightness of cords from top and then bottom and make sure there are not any slack or too tight. Make 1st Knot. If too tight or loose, untight

1st knot, continue adjusting till they all go straight. Tight dead knot.
